Kristin Fisher joined CNN on 20 July 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a Space and Defense Correspondent, Kristin Fisher covers all aspects of space from NASA to the newly formed Space Force as well as commercial space companies and tourism in space. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been an White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Trump and Biden Administrations in space matters. She also covered the 2020 presidential campaign as well as the efforts of two administrations in fighting the coronavirus. Kristin travelled extensively, both with the president and vice president. She even went on a secret trip to Afghanistan along with Donald Trump. Kristin was a fixture in the newsrooms of local markets like Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before joining the CBS network. She won the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as an CBS affiliate's one-man band reporter. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in producing documentaries for corporate clients, which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Boston University. She lives with her husband at Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
